Description

You translate business questions into working solutions. You optimise processes relating to remuneration, links and data flows, among other things, work closely with IT and operations, and embed improvements in templates and work instructions. Together, we ensure that systems and teams do what the business needs.

Your impact in this role

As a Business Analyst, you connect business and IT. You analyse processes, identify bottlenecks and translate these into concrete solutions.

In addition, you ensure that these solutions are actually implemented: you supervise the implementation, test changes and monitor correct application in daily operations.

The temporary employment market is constantly changing. That is why you need to be able to switch gears, set priorities quickly and cope well with time pressure.

At House of Work, you are not just an employee, but a valued colleague within our company. We ensure that working for us is not only rewarding, but also enjoyable and fun!

Responsibilities

What you will be doing specifically

  • Process analysis & optimisation: focusing on processes relating to remuneration, workforce management, data analysis and links, among other things; translating bottlenecks into achievable improvements.
  • Daily execution & implementation: implementing process changes, testing changes and ensuring that improvements actually work in practice.
  • Delivering IT change results: performing impact analyses; guiding changes through the ticket flow; following up until everything is running correctly.
  • Implementation & assurance: updating work instructions and templates; sharing knowledge through documentation and short training courses.
  • Stakeholder management: collaborating with process owners, specialists and operations; proactively identifying opportunities.
  • People and quality first: testing improvements for workability for teams and labels.

What do we expect from you?

What you bring to the table

  • Experience as a (Business) Analyst or Process Specialist in an environment where IT and operations are closely intertwined.
  • Strong skills in process modelling, requirements, impact analysis and testing/acceptance.
  • Hands-on mentality: you not only come up with solutions, but also implement, follow up and secure them.
  • Clear communication with various stakeholders.
  • Affinity with remuneration, links/instance codes, whitelisting and working with tickets and templates in a multi-label environment.
  • You are able to switch gears under time pressure and feel at home in an industry where priorities can shift quickly.

Education
The following degrees are most relevant to this position:

  • HBO Business IT & Management (BIM)
  • HBO Business Administration with IT specialisation
  • HBO ICT & Organisation

These fields of study reinforce exactly what you do in this role: analysing processes, assessing IT solutions and supervising implementations.

Nice to have
Familiar with the temporary employment/HR service chain and the role of industry and quality frameworks (such as ABU-affiliated labels).
Experience with AFAS, Plan4Flex and Power BI, our core applications for payroll, planning, links and data flows, among other things.

Team & working method
You will report to IT/Operations and work closely with process owners and fellow specialists on a daily basis. The Business Analysts team is currently being established, which means you will play an active role in developing its structure, working methods and standardisation. We value initiative, ownership and transparent collaboration — and expect you to offer advice both when asked and on your own initiative.
